We welcome back, David Connon, who will present a program about Josiah Bushnell Grinnell, the fouder of the city of Grinnell, Grinnell College and an abolitionist. The program is a story of racism, noble actions and will highlight John Brown's visit to Grinnell and Grinnell's first riot over the presence of fugitive slaves in the public school. Bring your lawn chair.
