The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend a Lunch & Learn on Thursday, November 14th beginning at 11:30 AM at the Rock Island Depot. The Nishna Valley Employers' Council of Iowa will be hosting Todd Oesterle, a registered apprenticeship expert from Iowa Workforce Development, to discuss creating registered apprenticeships and connecting to high school quality pre-apprenticeships.
Topics discussed will include:
- Determining if a registered apprenticeship program is right for your business.
- How to create a registered apprenticeship program.
- How to create a high school quality pre-apprenticeship program.
- Connecting a registered apprenticeship program to a high school's quality pre-apprenticeship program.
- Available government funding to create and maintain registered apprenticeships and quality pre-apprenticeships.
