DESCRIPTION:PRODUCE IN THE PARK Thursdays June- September in the Atlantic City Park \n\nThe mission of Produce in the Park is to promote local food production and consumption and to build a community that supports the health and well-being of residents. Produce in the Park provides opportunities for direct marketing for producers\, access to fresh local foods for consumers\, and social networking and educational opportunities for all participants.\n\nThink spring produce. Some of the veggies which should be available include a wide variety of mixed greens\, kale\, spinach\, onions and asparagus. Rhubarb pie\, sweet rolls\, and 16 varieties of jams could satisfy your sweet tooth. Many kinds of locally baked breads will be for sale.\n\nCass County Food Policy Council and Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce\, both supporters of Produce in the Park\, will be present every Thursday. Atlantic merchants are giving away a useful shopping bag.
