Tour de Parks

Tour de Parks is a free bicycle tour of Atlantic parks. The 10-mile ride will stop at 6 fabulous parks in Atlantic where area organizations will be welcoming riders with music, snacks, and information on programs offered in the Atlantic area. The ride will start and end at Sunny Side Park (1300 Sunnyside Lane, Atlantic, IA 50022) at the Kiddie Korral (the shelter by the bandstand with lots of playground equipment). The Atlantic Kiwanis will be providing a free meal for riders when they finish the ride, and participating organizations and supporters will be giving away free prizes. The ride will be on both trails and streets to highlight area trails and the bike-ability of Atlantic. The ride and following celebration is expected to last until approximately 5:30. Participating organizations include the City of Atlantic, Atlantic Parks & Rec, Nishna Valley Trails, Bike Farm, Cass County Extension, Cass County Grow Another Row, Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services, Produce in the Park, SHIFT ATL, Atlantic Public Library, Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce, Cass County Tourism, the Nishna Valley Family YMCA, and Atlantic Kiwanis.
