Our vision is to be the best rural hospital in the country, and we know that we are a long way toward that goal after ranking in the Top 10 overall among 1,353 critical access hospitals. We care for patients with medical needs ranging from minor aches and pains to life-threatening emergencies, and everything in between.

Cass Health's medical staff includes physician specialists in family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, podiatry, optometry, general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, rheumatology, and emergency medicine. Physician assistants and nurse practitioners work closely with the physicians across many specialties. Additionally, more than forty visiting specialists from Omaha, Council Bluffs, and Des Moines care for their patients on a regular basis at Cass Health.

More than 400 dedicated employees support these medical professionals, making Cass Health the largest employer in the county and a huge economic engine for the region.

We are located at 1501 East 10th Street in Atlantic. From Hwy 6 / Hwy 83 / 7th Street, turn south onto Hospital Drive. At 10th and Hospital Drive, turn left for the Main Entrance / Parking Lot A.
